Kootenay Glaciers
$89 per person - 1 Hour - Year round
Get up close and personal with the spectacular glaciers of the Kootenay region. This adventure flight explores the surface and contours of Kokanee Glacier with multiple passes above and around the stunning glacial peaks. The tour then continues on to discover the majestic Woodbury Glacier. This tour can be continued for a small fee to include visits to New Denver Glacier and the Valhallas.
Lake of the Hanging Glacier
$179 per person - 2 Hours - Year round
This unbelievably beautiful adventure flight takes you from Nelson to a magnificent Hanging Glacier that calves off into a turquoise glacial lake below. We then soar above the incredible Bugaboo Spires and fly by several stunning glaciers before returning over the waters of scenic Kootenay Lake. This is an adventure tour that will be remembered for a lifetime.
Setting Sun Mountain
$89 per person - 1 Hour - Year round
One of the most awe-inspiring visual experiences is witnessing the sun dipping below the mountainous landscape while spreading warm light and colour across the horizon. The Nelson mountain sunsets as seen from the skies are simply legendary - be sure to bring your camera to capture this moving and uplifting experience while you witness the mountain sunset and visit Mt. Loki, Mt. Carlyle, Baldface and Kokanee Glacier.
Forbidden Peaks
$89 per person - 1 Hour - Year round
Interested in visiting the different and unique mountain peaks of the region? Then this tour is for you. We'll deliver you to more mountain peaks than you thought possible. Fly bys include Mt. Freya, Mt. Harlow, Mt. Woden, Mt. Urd, Mt. Niord, New Denver Glacier, Idaho Peak, Mt. Carlyle and Kokanee Glacier Keyhole. And if you still haven't had your fill, the trip can be extended to include Mt. Niord, Mt. Vingolf, Mt. McHardy, Whitewater Mountain and Mt. Carlyle.
Glacial Lake Landing (Float)
$149 per person - 1.5 Hours - June - October
A mountain adventure tour with a twist! Taking off from Kootenay Lake in Nelson using our floatplane, we'll explore the local mountain scenery en route to making a float landing on the spectacular and remote Evans Lake Ecological Reserve tucked in the Valhalla mountain range. After touring the lake, we will do our 2 nd water take off from this pristine wilderness high alpine glacial lake and make our way back to the waters around Nelson all the while taking in different views of the incredible mountains of the Valhallas. This trip can be extended to include Kokanee Glacier and return via Kokanee Creek.
Autumn Foliage
$89 per person - 1 Hour - September - October
There is nothing as beautiful as the autumnal colours of the trees, especially in the mountains and when viewed from far above. This tour lets you witness from a bird's eye perspective the impressive foliage colours as we fly over mountain forests in West Arm Provincial Park, Main Lake, Midge Creek and 5 Mile. Need even more colour? This trip can be extended to include La France to Akokli. Pack your camera to capture the full spectrum of colours!
Spring Glacier Waterfall
$89 per person - 1 Hour - March - June
Every spring, the Kootenays play host to thousands of impressive waterfalls from the glacial melt off. This adventure tour takes you a stone's throw from many of these spectacular mountain waterfalls. Fly bys include Slocan Ridge, Little Slocan River, Mulvey Basin, Devil's Range, Evans Lake and Beatrice Lake. If that's not enough to fulfill your falling H2O quotient, the trip can be extended to include Kokanee Glacier and the Joker Lakes.
